Logan – Baseball
Logan batted .667 this week with an on base percentage of .764. He hit three HRs, one of them a grand slam in a comeback win against Novi. He scored seven runs, and had 11 RBI, as well. He finished off the week by pitching six shut out innings against Holly giving up two hits and striking out three. Logan helped the Eagles finish 3-1 for the week.
Lindsey – Track & Field
In the dual meet, Lindsey won the shot put and high jump. At the New Balance Invite, she won the high jump setting a new meet record of 5'4". She also placed 5th in the shot put with a new school record of 37' 3". Additionally, Lindsey competed in the 100 hurdles and on the 5th place 4 x 400 meters team splitting 1:01.4. She was in consideration for field event athlete of the meet.
Bryce – Golf
Bryce shot 79, at Oakland Hills CC, 38 at Dunham Hills and 75 at The Loop - to lead the Eagles in scoring for the week. Bryce's 75 at The Loop placed 5th in a tournament that hosted 7 of the top 10 teams in the State, and helped Hartland to a 6th place finish.
The Junior central defender has led the Eagles to 4 straight shutouts of KLAA opponents including three last week against Howell, Northville and Salem.
Had seven Goals, four Assists and six Ground Balls to help beat Brighton and four Goals, two Assists and four Ground Balls while beating Plymouth in the KLAA Championship game.
Dylan – Golf
Dylan led the Eagles with a 75 at The Fortress GC on Saturday, good for a Top 10 finish individually and a huge help to the Eagles finishing 5th in the Division I State Finals Preview. Dylan also led the Eagles with a 39 at Northville Hills, and helped his team to a two-stroke win over Northville in KLAA Action.
achel Everett – Softball
Rachel pitched Hartland to a 5-0-1 week with an ERA of 1.474 and two shutouts. Everett struck out 40 in 38 innings, highlighted by wins against top ranked teams in Howell and Clarkston to take the Ann Arbor Area tournament Championship.
The Junior Forward and Co-Captain scored both goals to lead Hartland to a 2-1 victory over #11 ranked Plymouth.
Jake – Golf
Jake led the Eagles last week with a personal competitive best score of 78 at Pine Lake Country Club, helping the Eagles to their best finish up the year - a runner-up in the 25 team field.
The Hartland GK has led the Eagles to 10 shutouts in the very competitive KLAA West division.
Maddy – Softball
Maddy batted .429 in three games with three runs and three RBI's for Hartland, helping lead her team offensively to a 3-0 week, including a KLAA West Co-Championship and a shot at the District Championship.
Elena helped secure the team’s first playoff victory of this season by contributing five goals, one assist, six ground balls and four caused turn overs. Eagles won 16-4.
In our only contest this week, Violet (a junior) shot an 85 to place 13th out of 80 golfers at the KLAA Pre-Conference Tournament at Kensington Golf Course.
Junior Audrey Brown is a 3-year varsity player. On Wednesday at Hartland Glen, she shot a 46 to help us to a victory over Plymouth Salem. At the Farmington Invitational Tournament Friday held at Glen Oaks Golf Course, she shot a personal best 79 and was a top 15 medalist out of 125 golfers!
Riley led the Hartland cross Country team to a second place finish at the Rambling Rock Invitational. He finished 1st overall in time of 15:34. He also set the meet record.
Annabelle is a sophomore at Hartland. She achieved her MISCA qualifying time in the 50 free with the time of 26.18 at Fenton Relays on Saturday as the lead off swimmer in the 200 free relay helping Hartland finish 4th in that relay. She also helped Hartland to place 7th and 4th in other Relays. Then in the final Speeds Sprint relay, she improved her 50 free time once again as the lead off swimmer with a 26.13 and helped Hartland gain 4th place.
