Sydney Bradford (Senior) – Golf
At the Hartland Invitational at Hartland Glen, Sydney shot a school record of 72 to lead us to a 1st place win. At the KLAA pre-season tournament held at Salem Hills Golf Course she shot a 77.
Brett Kuhlman (Junior) – Soccer
Brett scored two goals including the game winner and added an assist to lead the Eagles to a KLAA victory over Northville.
Holden D’Arcy (Sophomore) – Football
This sophomore QB threw for 238 yards, two touchdown passes, and ran for 94 yds and one rushing touchdown in a win over Plymouth Salem.
Marissa Harris (Sophomore) – Swim
In a home meet against Plymouth, Marissa placed 2nd in the 50-yard freestyle, 1st in the 100 yard backstroke, 2nd in the 200 yard medley relay, and 1st in the 200 yard freestyle relay helping Hartland gain 22 points. On Saturday in an away relay meet at Fenton High School, she placed 1st in the 200-yard backstroke relay, 2nd in the 200-yard freestyle relay and 4th in the 200-yard medley relay helping Hartland gain 104 points.
Violet Sinishtaj (Sophomore) – Golf
Violet Sinishtaj shot an 82 at the Farmington Invitational held at Glen Oaks Golf Course to help us place 4th out of 22 teams.
Maggie Zimmerman (Junior) - Cross Country
Maggie led the Eagles at the Ramblin' Rock Invitational by placing 14th in a time of 20:21. This was a 17-second Personal Record for Maggie.
Reece – Football
Reece rushed for 206 yards and had three rushing touchdowns in a victory over Northville.
Jordan Piatek (Senior) – Golf
In a match against Brighton, Jordan shot a 44 at Hartland Glen. Thursday at Northville she came in with another 44. At the Marian/Top 50 Tournament played at Bedford Valley Golf Course, Jordan carded an 86.
The Senior co-Captain and center back led the Eagles to a shutout win over #5 in the state Salem HS.
Savannah Grabowski (Junior) – Golf
Savannah scored a 39 against Canton and another 39 later in the week against Plymouth. She also scored an 83 for 18 holes in last week’s tournament. Savannah is also the Athletic Co-Op student.
Riley Hough (Freshmen) – Cross Country
Riley led the Eagles to a 4th place finish at the Coaching Legends Classic. He finished 7th overall with a time of 15:59, a time that makes him the fastest freshman ever in Livingston County.
Isabella Schmenk (Junior) – Cross Country
Isabella led the Eagles at the Coaching Legends Classic. She ran a season best of 20:22 and placed 49th overall helping Hartland to a 10th place finish.
Megan Acs (Senior) – Volleyball
Megan is a senior outside hitter, and co-captain for Hartland this year. In the game against Howell, Megan led the team with 14 kills and 14 digs with 100% serving average. Hartland was able to defeat Howell in three sets 25-21,25-21, and 25-12.
Olivia Root (Senior) – Golf
Olivia Root scored a 93 at the KLAA Conference Tournament held at Salem Hills Golf Course to help us place 4th out of 16 teams.
Audrey Brown (Sophomore) – Golf
Playing only 1 day in the State Finals under brutal weather conditions, shot an 86 to help us place 7th overall in States.
Kieran Malachino (Senior) – Soccer
The Hartland Senior and Goalkeeper saved three pk's in a row during Hartland's shootout with Lakeland in Districts. Kieran led the Eagles to nine shutouts, allowing only 23 goals in 22 games, one of the Eagles’ best defensive seasons ever.
Olivia Nied (Senior) – Swim
Placed 8th in the 50 freestyle at the KLAA Conference Meet with a time of 24.95 and achieved her State Qualifying time. She also placed 13th in the 100 freestyle with a time of 55.78. She anchored the 200 free relay, which finished 4th with a State Qualifying time of 1:40.43. She also was the lead off swimmer in the 400 free relay which placed 7th with a time of 3:50.88.
Trent has lead the Hartland Eagles in goal scoring through Week 1 with three goals in 2 games over Canton and Plymouth, and leads the team in shooting percentage of 50.0%.
Nikki Dompierre (Junior) - Basketball
In victories over Fenton and Okemos, Nikki scored 30 points and dished out six assists. Nikki also made 15 of 18 Free Throw attempts for 83 percent.
Jess - Bowling
Jess had scores of 183 and a new high score of 212 in our win over Franklin.
Morgan Maliszewski (Freshman) – Bowling
Morgan had games of 174,178,193 and a 206 in the tournament in Bay City.
Brooke is a three round, four-year varsity athlete. She is a key role in all 3 of our rounds of which round 2 and 3 were our highest scores of the season. Round 3 this week topped the round 3 scores for the state of Michigan. Brooke competes with all required skills and has been a great leader on our team this season!
Kyle Kantola (Senior) – Wrestling
Kyle had a perfect 7-0 week with seven pins, helping Hartland top three State Ranked teams and a state quarterfinalist from last season. Kantola is now a perfect 13-0 on the season with 12 pins.
On the week with wins vs Northville and Brother Rice, Joe had 3 goals.
Abbey VanGoethem (Junior) – Gymnastics
At the dual meet at Canton High School, Abbey contributed to the winning team score on three of the four events scoring an 8.40 on vault, 8.25 on the uneven bars, and an 8.825 on the balance beam. Abbey also put forth extra effort into attending an optional practice in which she worked hard to get a new skill on the balance beam, a tuck full jump which will earn her bonus points in her beam routine.
Collin led the Eagles in scoring during their Holiday tournament over break. He scored 23 points Friday night and 13 points on Saturday's championship round, totaling 36 points across two contests.
Corey Cavanaugh (Senior) - Wrestling
The 135 Pounder beat two ranked opponents to win the KLAA Championship. This is Corey’s second KLAA title and the fourth time he has earned All KLAA honors.
Gracey Metz (Freshman) – Basketball
Gracey scored 11 points on Tuesday against Plymouth by making 5 of her 7 shot attempts. Gracey was 6 of 6 against Salem in Friday's game and also had 7 rebounds.
Natalie – Bowling
Natalie had scores this week of 161,165,169 and 172.
Allison Schram (Junior) – Gymnastics
Allison earned a qualifying score on all four events at the meet on January 25 against Plymouth High School. These scores will allow her to compete at Regionals to try and advance to state meet in March.
Whitney - Basketball
Whitney had back to back double doubles this past week. In wins against Howell and Northville, Whitney scored 10 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in each game.
Hartland came in second by a very slim margin in last week’s KLAA Championship. Morgan was instrumental in helping Hartland to a team total of 776.14 points
Nikki – Basketball
In a game against Canton, Nikki scored seven points, grabbed eight rebounds, and handed out two assists. In Friday's win against Brighton, Nikki scored 12 points with six of them coming in the pivotal 4th quarter.
Ariana Adams (Junior) – Gymnastics
In last week’s meet against Livonia Red, Ariana contributed to the team score on all four events with an 8.45 on vault, 8.10 on bars, 9.15 on balance beam, and a 9.25 on the floor, helping lead the team to an outstanding victory (Hartland team score 140.6 and Livonia Red 123.9). Ariana stuck her new dismount on beam adding to her bonus category as well as making her handstand pirouette on bars that she has been working hard to perfect.
Hartland advanced to the State Finals by scoring 783.96 at the Regional over the weekend. Grace contributed in all three rounds of the competition.
Savanna – Bowling
Savanna had her highest game ever, scoring 186. She also had games of 155 and 166 in this week’s Regionals.
Reece recorded a fall in the State Quarterfinals against Westland John Glenn making him undefeated in Team Duals for the second straight season. Potter also qualified for the individual finals this weekend for the second year in a row.
Tanner Culver (Senior) – Wrestling
Tanner had a 5-0 week, helping Hartland win their 18th straight Regional Championship Wednesday and Qualifying for State for the third straight year. Tanner had two pins Wednesday and then topped two ranked wrestlers to win the 160 Regional Individual Championship.
Bella – Skiing
Bella competed in both the KLAA championship and the Regional championship and earned top ten honors in both. In the KLAA race, she was 3rd in Slalom with a combined time of 44.19, and 1st (champion) in Giant Slalom with a combined time of 33.14. At Regionals, she was 5th in slalom with a combined time of 43.79, and 4th in Giant Slalom with a time of 34.78.
Ethan Kinch (Freshman) – Wrestling
119 pounder Ethan Kinch went from unranked to fifth place at State. Kinch recorded three pins along the way including two over ranked wrestlers. Kinch finished his freshman year with a 35-13 Record.
Erika Beauchamp (Senior) – Lacrosse
Erika had seven points (five goals, two assists), four draw controls and two caused turnovers in the Eagles’ first game of the 2019 season versus Midland.
Brendan – Baseball
Brendan was the winning pitcher against Howell on Friday, April 5th. He pitched 6 innings gave up four hits, one run, two walks and had four strikeouts. As a hitter in three games this past week, Brendan reached base six times in 11 plate appearances. He had a double, two singles, two runs scored, one SAC bunt, three walks and two RBI. He also assisted on a put out at home from Centerfield, helping the Eagles finish 2-2 last week.
Brooke Cowan – Softball
Brooke is batting .667 through two games, helping lift Hartland over rival Howell in the first game of the season going 1-2 with a 2-run homerun.
Gage – Baseball
This past week, Gage led the Eagles to a 4-1 record. In those games, he's hitting .400, recording five base on balls, scoring six runs, batting in six runs and had three extra base hits. On the mound, Gage earned the win by pitching six innings, giving up one hit and striking out seven against Livonia Stevenson in a 6-0 win.
Abigail – Lacrosse
Abigail contributed 11 points (eight goals and three assists) and 26 draw controls in the Eagles’ two victories this week.
Delaney Robeson – Softball
Delaney batted an incredible .833 on the week, going five for six with two doubles, a triple, and two homeruns, good enough for a 2.50 slugging %. Robeson had 11 RBI's and scored five runs in two games for the Eagles, both wins over Northville.
The sophomore Center Midfielder scored twice to lead Hartland to a 3-1 victory over #10 rival Brighton.
Ryan – Golf
Ryan shot a 3-under par 68 at the KLAA Pre-Season championship to lead the Eagles to a second place finish with a season best score of 298. Ryan's score is the second lowest 18-hole score in Hartland HS history.
Kelsey Zampa – Softball
Kelsey batted .636 in four games with three singles, one double, and three homeruns, including a grand-slam in a 5-1 win over Canton. Zampa had 10 RBIs and seven runs to lead Hartland to a 4-0 week. Defensively, Zampa pitched a no-hitter in a three-inning victory over Wayne Memorial.
Mason – Baseball
Mason led the Eagles this past week with a .430 Batting average. He had four extra base hits that included three doubles and triple. He scored four runs, had two walks, knocked in two runs and stole three bases as we finished the week 3-2.
