Senior captain Sydney Bradford played in 2 tournaments this week. At the Hartland Invitational on Monday played at Hartland Glen she shot a school record of 72 to lead us to a 1st place win. On Thursday at the KLAA pre-season tournament held at Salem Hills Golf Course she shot a 77.
(Junior) Brett Kuhlman from our Varsity Boys’ Soccer team. Junior scored two goals including the game winner and added an assist to lead the Eagles to a KLAA victory over Northville.
(Sophomore) Holden D’Arcy from our Varsity Football team. Sophomore QB threw for 238 yards, 2 touchdown passes and ran for 94 yds and 1 rushing touchdown in a win over Plymouth Salem.
(Sophomore) Marissa Harris from our Varsity Girls’ Swim team. Marissa is the definition of a true competitor. She gives 100% in each and every race. On Thursday in a home meet against Plymouth, she placed 2nd in the 50 yard freestyle, 1st in the 100 yard backstroke, 2nd in the 200 yard medley relay, and 1st in the 200 yard freestyle relay helping Hartland gain 22 points. On Saturday in an away relay meet at Fenton High School, she placed 1st in the 200 yard backstroke relay, 2nd in the 200 yard freestyle relay and 4th in the 200 yard medley relay helping Hartland gain 104 points.
(Sophomore) Violet Sinishtaj from our Varsity Girls’ Golf team. Violet Sinishtaj shot an 82 at the Farmington Invitational held at Glen Oaks Golf Course to help us place 4th out of 22 teams.
(Junior) Maggie Zimmerman from our Varsity Girls’ Cross Country team. Maggie led the Eagles at the Ramblin' rock Invitational by placing 14th in a time of 20:21. This was a 17 second Personal Record for Maggie.
Reece rushed for 206 yards and had 3 rushing touchdowns in a victory over Northville
On Tuesday vs. Brighton Senior golfer Jordan Piatek shot a 44 at Hartland Glen. Thursday at Northville she came in with another 44. On Saturday at the Marian/Top 50 Tournament played at Bedford Valley Golf Course Jordan carded an 86 for us
The Senior co-Captain and center back led the Eagles to a shutout win over #5 in the state Salem HS.
(Junior) Savannah Grabowski from our Varsity Girls’ Golf team. Savannah scored a 39 against Canton and another 39 later in the week against Plymouth. She also scored an 83 for 18 holes in last week’s tournament. Savannah is also the Athletic Co-Op student.
(Freshmen) Riley Hough from our Varsity Boys’ Cross Country team. Riley led the Eagles to a 4th place finish at the Coaching Legends Classic this Saturday. He finished 7th overall in a time of 15:59. This makes him the fastest freshman ever in Livingston County.
(Junior) Isabella Schmenk from our Varsity Girls’ Cross Country team.Isabella Led the Eagles this weekend at the Coaching Legends Classic. She ran a season best of 20:22. She placed 49th overall helping Hartland to a 10th place finish.
(Senior) Megan Acs from our Varsity Volleyball team. Megan is a senior outside hitter, and co captain for Hartland this year. This past week Hartland only had one scheduled game and it was against Howell. Megan led the team with 14 kills and 14 digs with 100% serving average. Hartland was able to defeat Howell in three sets 25-21,25-21, and 25-12.
(Senior) Olivia Root from our Varsity Girls’ Golf team. At our only event last week, senior Olivia Root scored a 93 at the KLAA Conference Tournament held at Salem Hills Golf Course to help us place 4th our of 16 teams in the KLAA Conference.
(Sophomore) Audrey Brown playing only 1 day in the State Finals under brutal weather conditions shot an 86 to help us place 7th overall in States.
(Senior) Kieran Malachino from our Varsity Boys’ Soccer team. The Hartland Senior and Goalkeeper saved three pk's in a row during Hartland's shootout with Lakeland in Districts. Kieran led the Eagles to nine shutouts, allowing only 23 goals in 22 games, one of the Eagles best defensive seasons ever.
At our only event last week, senior Olivia Root scored a 93 at the KLAA Conference Tournament held at Salem Hills Golf Course to help us place 4th our of 16 teams in the Conference.

Olivia Nied, a senior at Hartland, placed 8th in the 50 freestyle at the KLAA Conference Meet with a time of 24.95 and achieved her State Qualifying time. She also placed 13th in the 100 freestyle with a time of 55.78. She anchored the 200 free relay, which finished 4th with a State Qualifying time of 1:40.43. She also was the lead off swimmer in the 400 free relay which placed 7th with a time of 3:50.88.
Senior Forward Trent has lead the Hartland Eagles in goal scoring through Week 1 with 3 goals in 2 games over Canton and Plymouth. And leads the team in shooting percentage of 50.0%
In victories over Fenton and Okemos, Junior Nikki Dompierre scored 30 points and dished out 6 assists. Nikki also shot made 15 of 18 Free Throw attempts for 83 percent.
Jess had scores of 183 and a new high score of 212 in our win over Franklin.
12/10 to 12/16 Freshman Morgan Maliszewski had games of 174,178,193 and a 206 in the tournament in Bay City.
Brooke is a three round, 4 year varsity athlete. She is a key role in all 3 of our rounds of which round 2 and 3 were our hisghest scores of the season. Round 3 this week topped the round 3 scores for the state of Michigan. Brooke competes with all required skills and has been a great leader on our team this season!
Senior Kyle Kantola had a perfect 7-0 week with 7 pins helping Hartland top three State Ranked teams and a state quarterfinalist from last season. Kantola is now a perfect 13-0 on the season with 12 pins.
On the week with wins vs Northville and Brother Rice, Joe had 3 goals.
Abbey VanGoethem (junior) demonstrated great sportsmanship and positivity at our dual meet on 12/19 against Canton High School. She contributed to the winning team score on three of the four events scoring an 8.40 on vault, 8.25 on the uneven bars, and an 8.825 on the balance beam. Abbey also put forth extra effort into attending an optional practice in which she worked hard to get a new skill on the balance beam, a tuck full jump which will earn her bonus points in her beam routine. Great job, Abbey! Keep up the great work!
Collin Arnold led the Eagles in scoring during their Holiday tournament over break. He scored 23 points Friday night and 13 points on Saturday's championship round, totaling 36 points across two contests.
Senior 135 Pounder Corey Cavanaugh beat two ranked opponents to win the KLAA Championship. This is Corey’s second KLAA title and the fourth time he has earned All KLAA honors.
Freshman Gracey Metz started both games this week and had a big time response. Gracey scored 11 points on Tuesday against Plymouth by making 5 of her 7 shot attempts. Gracey was 6 of 6 against Salem in Friday's game and also had 7 rebounds. Gracey was very instrumental in these two wins.
Natalie (Average 147) had scores this week of 161,165,169 and 172
Allison Schram, junior, earned a qualifying score on all four events at the meet on Friday (1/25) night against Plymouth High School. These scores will allow her to compete at Regionals to try and advance to state meet in March. Go Eagles!
Whitney had back to back double doubles this past week. In wins against Howell and Northville Whitney scored 10 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in each game.
Hartland came in second by a very slim margin in last weeks KLAA Championship. Morgan was instrumental in helping Hartland to a team total of 776.14 points
In our Tuesday game against Canton Nikki scored 7 points , grabbed 8 rebounds , and handed out 2 assists. In Friday's win against Brighton Nikki scored 12 points with 6 of them coming in the pivotal 4th quarter.
Ariana Adams (junior) had an amazing performance at last weeks meet against Livonia Red. She contributed to the team score on all four events with an 8.45 on vault, 8.10 on bars, 9.15 on balance beam, and a 9.25 on the floor helping lead the team to an outstanding victory (Hartland team score 140.6 and Livonia Red 123.9). Ariana stuck her new dismount on beam adding to her bonus category as well as making her handstand pirouette on bars that she has been working hard to perfect. Great job, Ariana! Keep pushing yourself!
Hartland advanced to the State Finals by scoring 783.96 at the Regional over the weekend. Grace is a junior who is a major contributer in all 3 rounds of the competition.
Savanna had her highest game ever 186. She also had games of 155 and 166 in this weeks Regionals on the 22nd at 300 bowl
Reece Potter recorded a fall in the State Quarterfinals against Westland John Glenn making him undefeated in Team Duals for the second straight season. Potter also qualified for the individual finals this weekend for the second year in a row.
Senior Tanner Culver had a 5-0 week helping Hartland win their 18th straight Regional Championship Wednesday and Qualifying for State for the third straight year. Tanner had two pins Wednesday and then topped two ranked wrestlers to win the 160 Regional Individual Championship on Saturday.
Bella competed in both the KLAA championship and the Regional championship and earned top ten honors in both. In the KLAA race she was 3rd in Slalom with a combined time of 44.19, and 1st (champion) in Giant Slalom with a combined time of 33.14. At Regionals she was 5th in slalom with a combined time of 43.79 and 4th in Giant Slalom with a time of 34.78
Freshmen 119 pounder Ethan Kinch went from unranked to fifth place at State. Kinch recorded three pins along the way including two over ranked wrestlers. Kinch finished his freshmen year with a 35-13 Record.
Senior Erika Beauchamp had 7 points (5 goals, 2 assists), 4 draw controls and 2 caused turnovers in the Eagles first game of the 2019 season vs Midland.
Brendan was the winning pitcher against Howell on Friday, April 5th. He pitched 6 innings gave up 4 hits, 1 run, 2 walks and had 4 strikeouts. As a hitter in 3 games this past week Brendan reached base 6 times in 11 plate appearances. He had a double, 2 singles, 2 runs scored, 1 SAC bunt, 3 walks and 2RBI. He also assisted on a put out at home from Centerfield, helping the Eagles finish 2-2 last week.
Brooke Cowan is batting .667 through two games, helping lift Hartland over rival Howell in the first game of the season going 1-2 with a 2-run homerun.
This past week, Gage led the Eagles to a 4-1 record. In those games, he's hitting .400, recording 5 base on balls, scoring 6 runs, batting in 6 runs and had 3 extra base hits. On the mound Gage earned the win by pitching 6 innings, giving up 1 hit and striking out 7 against Livonia Stevenson in a 6-0 win.
Abigail contributed 11 points (8 goals and 3 assists) and 26 draw controls in the Eagles 2 victories this week.
Delaney Robeson batted an incredible .833 on the week, going 5 for 6 with 2 doubles, a triple, and 2 homeruns, good enough for a 2.50 slugging %. Robeson had 11 RBI's and scored 5 runs in 2 games for the Eagles, both wins over Northville.
The sophomore Center Midfielder scored twice to lead Hartland to a 3-1 victory over #10 rival Brighton.
Ryan shot a 3-under par 68 at the KLAA Pre-Season championship to lead the Eagles to a second place finish with a season best score of 298. Ryan's score is the second lowest 18-hole score in Hartland HS history.
